"AmerCable believes a well-trained miner is a safer miner,” says AmerCable’s mining product manager Gary Mostyn. “Mark’s recognition represents the dedication of the entire Mining Group to always 'Think Customer' by providing safety and productivity training that allows our customers to profit and grow."
Mr. Jenkins, who offices at his home in Wise, Virginia, is frequently asked to go underground to help solve cable issues, including some mines where the coal seams are as low as 36.” It is not the most ideal working environment because sometimes he has to crawl hundreds of yards to evaluate a cable problem. But, he handles each situation with his usual good humor and positive attitude.
